Pornography in our society-(part 1)
After a vivid research from people around me and the internet i found out that 70% of internet traffic is porn and Also very one in the world has at least watched or seen a pornographic material.And its the Industry that makes a lot of money from Monetization sites like Adsense and so on.
If you want to get more views, Likes,followers etc well the porn industry can grow those to millions drastically within hours..
When thinking about our generation we know that everything we do is influenced by technology in some form. Everything we could ever want to find is at the tip of our fingers. Keeping that in mind, it’s fascinating to consider what technology has done to our opinions on sex. Pornography dates back to the beginning of time and although it’s always been part of society, its now a billion dollar entertainment industry and growing. The male perspective of sex and women has been increasingly growing to be more theatrical than real. In the 1960’s when the pornography industry really started to grow, the only way men could access it was buy purchasing a magazine or seeing a film in a X rated theater, all things some men may not be comfortable with. With the internet’s endless amount of information, you can find pornography in all genres and fetishes. In the article, entitled “The Porn Myth,” Namoi Wolf writes,
“Here is what young women tell me on college campuses when the subject comes up: They can’t compete, and they know it. For how can a real woman—with pores and her own breasts and even sexual needs of her own (let alone with speech that goes beyond “More, more, you big stud!”)—Possibly compete with a cyber vision of perfection, downloadable and extinguishable at will, who comes, so to speak, utterly submissive and tailored to the consumer’s least specification?”
In the film Bound there are issues with the ratings being too explicit to the point of it being considered pornography. In the film the sex scenes are too unrealistic creating a image of sex that is embellished for your entertainment. Keeping the question in mind, does porn and sex in films turn men off to the real thing? The next article will touch upon this subject putting the real issue into perspective
